Solo traveler enjoyed the quiet stay
The kitchen was a great perk I made use of every morning to brew my coffee and plan my day. The conservatory was a fantastic spot I found myself in every evening to unwind with a book and a cup of tea.
It wasn't exactly cheap but for what I got it felt acceptable.

We stayed one night. The kitchen was great for breakfast! But those noisy guests kept me awake, eh? Couldn’t handle the late-night chatter.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, which offered a decent spot for our stay. The location allows easy access to Donegal Town, making it convenient for exploring the area.
Upon arrival, the access process was confusing as the key was not where it was supposed to be, leaving the front door wide open. The soundproofing is lacking, making it easy to hear other guests moving about, particularly during the early hours. The absence of basic coffee-making facilities in the room was a letdown, and the limited breakfast options felt like a missed opportunity for a more fulfilling start to the day. parking was cramped, which did add a slight inconvenience when checking in and out. I also faced some difficulties with payment, as there were unclear instructions regarding card payments due to the owner's restaurant being closed during our departure.

The recently remodeled guest house provided a comfortable stay with a well-functioning WiFi, which was essential during our visit. Enjoying access to the kitchen was a real convenience, allowing us to prepare meals and save on dining costs. Being a short drive from the town center made it easy to explore the local area. the limited parking added some stress, and the noise from other guests during the night disrupted our sleep. A lack of coffee-making facilities in the room was also disappointing.
